New version of my custom firmware build: 9.2.5.2.24SF-HW.

Changes (vs 9.2.5.2.23SF-HW):

1. Toolchain: binutils version is upgraded 2.38->2.39.
2. Toolchain: Go is upgraded 1.18.4->1.18.6.
3. Toolchain: GDB is upgraded 11.2->12.1.

Voxel thanks again for another solid update and all of your hard work! Have been running the new firmware for about a week without any issues.

Also just wanted to throw out a quick thank you to everyone that posts here in the forum. I've normally just worried about a basic firmware upgrade for performance and security. It's been interesting reading up on the various ways to customize things further and exploring simple things like SSH'ing into the routers for additional commands.
I had grabbed a used Orbi system as an upgrade for my mothers house recently and in the process of switching that system over to voxels firmware I bricked the satellite. I found plenty of information and even videos on how to unbrick it but wasn't having any luck. I finally found the FAQ for Kamoj's add on and in there were the easiest to follow instructions on the process. It was just a small step that I was getting wrong and after following the FAQ I got it on the first try.

I first downgraded the RBS to RBS50-V2.5.2.4, then the RBR to RBR50-V2.5.2.4. Then installed RBS50-V9.2.5.0.43SF-HW， All worked fine so far.Then installed RBS50-V9.2.5.0.43SF-HW and it now has got stuck on a slow white fade flashing stage. Can't seem to webadmin into it.


Then I tried the TFTP tool to load the firmware V2.5.2.4 to save my RBR50, and then continued to follow the flashing process and tried many times, but all failed.

Then I tried looking for older voxel firmware to try.This time I flashed RBR50-V2.5.0.40 firmware to my rbr50.Then I tried looking for older voxel firmware to try. RBK50-V2.5.0.42SF-HW, it worked.
Then I tried to upgrade the firmware to a newer firmware based on the RBR50-V2.5.0.42SF-HW, and all failed again. Then I had to tftp to restore the firmware to V2.5.24, and then flash V2.5.042SF-HW, I don't know what went wrong, why the satellite works but the RBR50 doesn't work?Voxel to Voxel doesn't work either.Although Voxel's V2.5.042SF-HW works well, I still hope that the RBR50 can successfully flash the new firmware as well as the satellite.


I think I know where the problem is. It may be because of the different router standards in different countries, so I can't use the Voxel firmware. Although the new version of Voxel cannot be successfully flashed, the RBK50-V2.5.0.42SF-HW The firmware has played a big role in the stability of my orbi WiFi. Thank you very much. I made it，I accessed the telnet console, then used the artmtd command to change the country to Australia, and then successfully flashed voxel。
It may be the default limit of RBR50 machines in different regions, changing the region will solve it.
