New version of my custom firmware build: 9.2.5.2.34SF-HW.

Changes (vs 9.2.5.2.33SF-HW):

1. Toolchain: Go is upgraded 1.22.2->1.22.3.
2. unbound package (used in stubby) is upgraded 1.19.3->1.20.0 (fixing CVE-2024-33655).

3. lighttpd package is upgraded 1.4.75->1.4.76 (to avoid CVE-2024-3094 xz supply chain attack).

4. OpenSSL v. 1.1.1 package is upgraded to OpenSSL v. 3.0.x 1.1.1w->3.0.13.

6. e2fsprogs package is upgraded 1.47.0->1.47.1.
7. bind package is upgraded 9.18.25->9.18.27.
8. nghttp2 package is upgraded 1.61.0->1.62.1.
9. curl package is upgraded 8.7.1->8.8.0.
10. nano package is upgraded 7.2->8.0.
11. iperf3 package is upgraded 3.16->3.17.1.
12. iw package is upgraded 6.7->6.9.
13. Upgrade pcre 8.45 to pcre2 10.43 8.45->10.43.
14. ngrep: disable pcre.
15. wget: replace dependence on pcre with dependence on pcre2.
16. samba36: add patch to undef 'mkdir' macro.
17. hotplug2: fix hotplug2.mount script (minor missprint).
18. OpenVPN: add NG/DNI patches for system logs.
19. Host tools: upgrade e2fsprogs to 1.47.1.
20. Host tools: upgrade UPX to 4.2.4.

NOTE:
The most important change in this release is an update of OpenSSL v. 1.1.1 to OpenSSL v. 3.0.x.

Wanted to give this firmware a try but having problems downloading the files (very slow, and eventually timeout). Is there something wrong with the hosting site?

Issue was addressed - Had something to do with my location. Tried from another ISP and it worked fine.

Having a similar issue, but at a different location or mobile data it works fine. Not sure why my ISP is being weird.

First of all, I'm not a vixel, I'm a Voxel. Not very considerate and respectful of you.

Secondly, the Orbi app is a pretty cranky app. It tells me that my RBR50 is offline. Meanwhile, my RBR50 is definitely online. Also, the same Orbi app works perfectly when connected to an Orbi LBR20. Screenshot:

I am not responsible for NETGEAR's smartphone apps. Sorry. And don't like them...

You have a slightly different problem that Orbi app authorization is not working. But this app is really quite crooked. Unfortunately.

when i was able to connect orbi app finally. i have set up the router as AP now. orbi app does not show me any satelite being connected so i logged in thru orbi web interface and this is what i see. does this mean all my satelites are connected?

Try to logout and to login (WebGUI). WebGUI sometimes slows down and does not show the current state.

I logged out and logged back in but no change.
Will wait few mins and try again And report back later on tonight.

@Voxel dunno if you know the html trick to display additional settings like below, using this in browser console:

So doesn’t matter what setting I change, Rbs10 do not connect.
In screen shot, the ones that are not connected are rbs10 the other that is connected rbs50. I am guessing because rbs10 has orbi fw and rbr50 and rbs50 has Voxel?
