I think this will work. Just a bit confused regarding following:

1. Put downloaded transmission-web_2.94V-1_ipq806x.ipk to your router

how to put that file to the router..? I just copy that to attached USB..? or I need to use command through Telnet/SSH..?

2. Install transmission from Entware.

Can you please elaborate how can I do that..? sorry I am new to this..

Either from attached USB or by telnet:

Signing up for this. I have spent the last hour trying to telenet into the router to start this process.

I tried to download torrent after changing Transmission Web GUI as per instructions given by Voxel. But no luck. I still get error and my torrent file goes to Warning section after adding them to Transmission Web GUI. Transmission works fine on dd-wrt firmware.

Don't know what's wrong....
