Most of the details and my attempts to solve the issue are described in the post I linked with my inquiry. Beyond that I tried getting uhttpd to run on the telnet port to see whether the issue was linked to port 80 being blocked from other subnets. For this I tried modifying /etc/config/uhttpd but this did not seem to have an effect. I also tried simply starting uhttpd from the command line using the parameter listed in the running task list retrieved using the "ps" command. I was not able to access the website through port 23 but I was also never convinced I started the daemon correctly.@revengineer It think it would be very helpful if you could relate what you've done, and the results of your actions, so that we could help you as much as we can.
You've spent hours of frustration on this but we have no clue what you've done. What were the errors that you got.
It's a very interesting problem, I'm sure we're all eager to help you and solve it
Bottom line is that while I reasonably know my way around unix and derivatives, I am not a networking guy and do not know how to troubleshoot the issue.
