New Around Here
My main router used to be the AX86U, but now it’s the AX86U Pro. I use the AC68U as a media bridge, to which my computer is connected. I decided to test the AX86U as a media bridge. Before the malware situation, I used to see speeds of 400+ Mbps on my AC68U.

Now, I’m wondering why I’m no longer getting 400+ Mbps speeds with the AC68U unless I connect directly to the AX86U.

Hope that makes sense.

I wonder... did you test the AC68U bridge with the AX86U bridge turned OFF?

Yes I have.

Now I'm not sure if I actually did a speed test on the AC68U when we switched over to 500 (we had 200 before). I only did an internet speed test on the ASUS website.

You can't just do a single run with the Ookla speedtest though, as it has too high variability.
Try something like iPerf instead, it should be part of the new firmwares on the AX models at least, but you have to SSH in to the router to run it.
