I've been wondering for a while now why there are different strength indicators in the Asus GUI. I've seen this difference on all my Asus routers, running stock or Merlin, for some time now. Prior devices AC66U, AC88U, AC68U, and current AX86U.


This style is present for some devices:

to differentiate/classify devices connected to main network or guest network
 
Makes sense. Thank you. I guess I can ID guest from other than different IP range now. But I do have to click into there to even see the icon, where I can see the IP before going in.
