You should just be able to boot from the iso burned to a CD.

login root/eonsolaris

run format -e. It wil print if it see any drives. Paste me output if you can. ctrl-c to break out.

also run psrinfo -v and paste me that output if possible

The data on your drives will not be harmed or touched. The realtek driver has been fixed in opensolaris. EON is based off a later version than osol 2008.11, snv 104. The 64 bit release will have the realtek driver included but can be manually added.

I like alot about your board choice. I wish they hadn't used so dimm though.
