I am using the RT-AC68r as a media bridge with the Netgear R7000 as my primary router and for some reason I cannot get my dlna devices (the ones hooked up to the Asus AC68r) to show up when browsing for them. I also have a powerline network set up and and when I switch to powerline adapters, everything shows up fine.
Just to give an idea of my set up: I have the Netgear R7000 in my home office and the RT-68r is in my living room with multiple devices attached to it. These include Roku 3, WDTV media player, Blu-ray player, gaming consoles etc. For example, with the powerline set up I can cast my Slingbox stream to my Roku since it shows up on the network, but as soon as I switch to the Asus it disappears. The results hold true regardless of the band be it 2.4 or 5 GHz.
I have gone through the settings on the Asus and there isn't much there when using it as a client bridge. My sole purpose of getting the Asus was to use it as a bridge and if I can't get it to work then it might have to go back.
