Hi guys,

I have a synology ds412+, for a couple of weeks now I've been having problems with the system shutting down with the message sever started counting down to shutdown in the logs. It does this at random times all drives reporting healthy. The system is running 6.0.2-8451-7 firmware with 4x3tb wd reds. Anyone any ideas on this.

Contact Syno support directly here...

Might be a HW failure.

Thanks for the reply, been through the logs seems like it's the power button being pressed even though it's not, the diskstation is out of warranty. Can the power button be replaced or better to scrap the unit?

Should be a software switch inside DSM...

I wouldn't scrap it if it's still working otherwise...
