New Around Here
Hi Guys,

Apologies if this information is somewhere obvious but I ran a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Basically I have the above modem/router, the DSL-AC56U and I would like to know if the firmware for the RT-AC56U is compatible with my model?

Thanks

No it's not compatibel and not supported by RMerlin.

Time to consider a new router and perhaps use yiur current one just as a modem, if that's practicable. I'm sure you will find it worth the expense in order to run Merlin's firmware.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the reason I'm using the DSL-AC56U is because the old TP-Link router I was using consistently dropped my connection and required manual intervention at least twice a day.

Looks like I'll have to hold out for now and wait until I'm on a decent connection (I'm still on lowly broadband hence the modem) before plumping for a tasty new router.

Thanks
