My RT-AC68U has been flashed by me to MerlinWRT 380_65_2 successfully and was running great. After a week or two I went in to check a setting using web browser. It rejects the request to the router IP. Tried multiple browsers, clearing browsers cache, all the stuff I read here recommended. So finally I did a factory reset on it and it came back. So I made sure it was persistent through multiple power cycles and then reconfigured it as it was before manually.
Everything was fine and then I enabled Telnet and SSH in system so I could start exploring optional features. Now the router works fine, I can connect and make changes through the Asus app on Android. But on the same pc the web browser gui is unavailable again......
I tried to downgrade to the latest 37X firmware as I read the 380 series is still kinda unstable but it tells me I can't downgrade. According to Merlins documentation the 380_60 firmware is the one where they started not allowing large downgrades so I'm confused there. Should I just flash the latest stock firmware to get stability until Merlin is more stable?
