Great thought.....also the modem firmware version, since different markets roll out firmware on different schedules.

Thank you for the fork. I have the AC68U and the tools menu isn't working. I'm kicked out if the router and must reboot the router before i can log in again.

In the merlin build it is working correctly.

There is something in the tools menu that is sensitive to not doing a factory reset when one was required. Sorry to say you need to do a factory reset and reconfigure to clear it up.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of changing multiple things at the same time - found 5 autostarting apps that I disabled (using the Clean Master app from Google Play Store) in addition to the router firmware change.

Don't do that john9527, that program is useless and probably also mining user data while "cleaning RAM". You don't need to kill or disable apps, antivirus, memory cleaners or whatnot on android, it can take care of itself just fine.
If you really want to get rid of some temp/junk files use SD maid.

So, just put it to sleep with a 99% charge.....we'll see how it holds up.

If thats the case i guess it dont work right with the Zoom 5341J, Motorola SB-6141 and the new Moto/Arris SB-6183 they all have the same problems but only on Asus routers Netgear and Linksys are never a issue. Look there is no doubt there is a issue you all have seen the hundreds of post saying the same thing i am. And i would also point out it's not that it dont work it's just a pain in the butt getting to grab the v6 address after that all is good.

With recent versions of Android, wake-up apps can be tracked down from the Battery/power management section, which will tell you the percentage of power usage per app (including as to when was the wifi enabled and in use during the discharge cycle).

That's assuming it's not a kernel-related wakelock. Android does have a few bugs to that effect. My own Nexus 4 will occasionally go into Crazy Power Slurp Mode, where the battery gets drained within a few hours. And even while it's plugged to my PC, it can then drain the power faster than it can charge over USB...

Use greenify. It really works. If you have xposed framework, then install not manager, or works much better without malware or spyware
For wakelocks, install wakelocks detector from the play store. I use all 3 and my boot and battery are optimized

For that there's a separate option under Wifi in the Advanced settings where you can determine if Wifi should remain disabled while the screen is turned off.

On my tablet, it's an option 'Keep Wifi on during sleep' with options Always, Only when plugged in and Never....I'm running Never.

And, my little test is running fine.....wifi looks like it shuts down between 5-10 minutes after the screen shuts off. I do see a couple of times where the tablet is marked as 'Awake', but without the screen or wifi active (maybe one of those phantom wakelocks, but that's for another forum . Overall, I've lost <10% battery charge over 9 hours with me waking/sleeping it several times.

So....as far as I can see, there's nothing from the router causing the wifi to stay up.

Changes in the refresh

- Reverted a backport commit which could break port forwarding. It's getting tougher to immediately spot which backports may cause a problem.

- Move the Extend TTL option to the Firewall page and made it stick across reboots.

- Added some additional delay to starting the networkmap function during boot in case it was colliding with pulling an IPv6 address (my last shot at fixing the case of multiple boots required to get an address).

Weird issue, I have a nexus 7 2013 tablet running stock Kit-Kat (not rooted or anything) and it's working perfectly since I got it. This is clearly the very best tablet I ever had. I only restart it like once in a month and I use it almost every day and never had a single problem with this bad boy. I won't upgrade to lollipop, because why change if it's working perfectly... Hope it will last for a long time, I'm very satisfied.

Is there a way to manually format JFFS?

I've tried about 20 times the "Format JFFS partition at next boot", tried manual rebooting and factory resets too without success, was working fine on 378.50.

If I try to do anything on /jffs, I get "Read-only file system".

Sometimes getting it to format and create the configs and scripts directories can be finicky....this usually works...

Set JFFS to on and to format at next boot.....reboot.....after the reboot finishes, reboot again without making any changes in the gui....
