Hi all,

I have been using RMerlin's builds on my two Asus routers without complications. Its a great firmware and I really like it. So thanks for putting it all together for us :)

I am however having a few problems getting my VPN client to work.

I have a VyprVPN service, with optional OpenVPN, which is provided by Giganews. I have followed the instructions on the Giganews website for the DD-WRT OpenVPN settings but a lot of the settings on their page are not available in the Merlin firmware.

So I was wondering if anyone has been successful in getting connected with VyprVPN on a Asus-Merlin router?

Thanks in advance,

DoZZa

Its OK, I managed to get it to work, did not have the DNS set correctly. Works flawlessly now. Cheers :)

Been trying to get it to work all day (and night). How did you manage to get it to work with VYPRVPN? Doesn't seem to be any good tutorials or advices out there. ;/ Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use Merlins Firmware:374.43 on an AC66U.

Hi,

The problem I had after messing with it for days turned out to be the way that the certificate was pasted into the box.

You need to be sure that it is pasted with no line breaks.

All I did was make the box for the certificate bigger and then saw the line breaks.

Remove these line breaks and it will work.

Cheers :)
