From what I understand only GT-AX11000 Pro officially supports VLANs on stock firmware. But since my GT-AX11000 has the /proc/net/vlan/config file, I believe the kernel has it enabled (I guess it must have, since in router mode it allows VLAN tagging on WAN port).

I'm using my GT-AX11000 as an access-point, nothing else. I do my network segmentation on separate device, and what I would like to accomplish is to connect 2 VLANs to my Asus and let it spread 2 WiFi networks, one for each VLAN, with complete segregation.

Is this possible to accomplish this via GUI with custom firmware?

No, there is no GUI options to do that in Merlin's custom firmware.

Thanks for the info!

Any tips on the best approach on how to do it in CLI? Will I be able to backup firmware with such configuration, that I customize on the OS level?

Have you had any luck with this? I've also got a GT-AX11000 (not pro) and want to get VLAN set up. Is the GT-AX11000 (not pro) work with asuswrt-merlin or other alternative firmware?
