GUI problem ASUS RT-AC68U

Hello,

I just bought an Asus RT-AC68U and installed Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.42_2 FW on it. Thank you very much for this FW

My setup consists of 2 internet lines, one pppoe and the second fixed IP.

I installed the pppoe line on the wan port and the fixed ip line on lan1 port after enabling dual wan feature.

However I have a problem setting up the parameters of the connections in the WAN -internet connection tab.

I select at Wan type the wan port and configure the pppoe. Apply and then select at wan type the Ethernet line. When doing so the page does not refresh and I still see the parameters of the first line.

I tried 3 internet browsers and 4 different PC's with the same results. I also switched back to stock FW, same result, back to Merlin, same.

Can anyone please help me set up the second internet connection?

Hello,

Can anyone at least test this please to see if it is a general problem or it is just my router doing this? I got 5 more days in which I can give it back for a full refund.

Sorry you have a problem.. I have this router but don't have two internet lines so can't help unfortunately.

I think maybe others also only have a single line

Hi,

You don't need to have 2 internet lines. Just need to select dual wan, select Ethernet lan1 as second wan port and go to internet connection tab. Select the Ethernet line at Wan type and let me know if the page refreshes - that is if switching between wan and Ethernet wan at wan type changes the rest of the settings or not.

Yes it's broken, and there's currently no solution. The Dual WAN webui has always been half-broken.

Hello my friend i have the sme router and yes refresh is broken but dual wan is working ok you just put the first wan's settings and press apply and then choose second wan port and reenter the second wan's settings and press apply.
Now it's just port forwarding that needs to be fixed in this router with dual wan load balance mode and everything will be fine

I have the same Issue, and I`ve tried to configure it and apply PPPoE on WAN and then automatic IP on ethernet, but it does not work...
