Very little information out there as of yet on what appears to be a new toy from Hawking Technology. I've been given recommendations in the past several times for some of their products. Anyone here have any experiences with them?

Has anyone here run across this yet or are there are any plans to review it any time soon and add it to the charts? :)

^^ That Wireless N USB Dish Adapter really intruiges me as well.

A Range extender could be useful...

I notice that they're (wisely?) not bothering with 5Ghz and dual band so that keeps costs down and has this new router around $100 or so and the adapter is floating in that usual $70-$80ish range.

I wonder what kind of hardware is being used (radio, chips, etc.?)

It's a third party design, so the FCC ID isn't easily obtained. Hawking often rebadges Edimax products; they have a single-band router (NDD9565240719) that uses a Ralink RT2880 CPU, RT2820 2T3R radio, and a IC+ IP175C 10/100 switch. I can only certain of the switch chip, but as this is a low-end product I wouldn't be surprised if it that particular Ralink chipset is correct even if the board guess is wrong.

I think the lack of a GigE switch would be the dealbreaker for most people.

I haven't reviewed Hawking products in awhile due to too many quality issues. Not likely that I'll look at this one, either.

Quality might be the wrong word. More like buggy and an overall generic / cheap feel.
