I have a new Asus 4G-AC68U. The problem I have is it intermittently keeps disconnecting the 4G Wan link.
I had no issues for around 2 years. About a year ago the 4G box would drop the 4G connection and just show as disconnected. If I check the WAN status it will show 'connecting' and then work again. Or if that fails, a reboot of the box will get the link working.
The super frustrating thing is it might work fine for a week, or disconnect 4 times in an hour. I know its not the box because this is the 4th box I have tried over the last 12 months (including 2 TP-Link boxes) - all with the same issue. I have updated the firmware on this box.
I have spoken with the cell company and they say there is no issue with the tower I am connecting to. Any ideas on how to further trouble shoot this issue? Been driving me nuts for the last 12 months.
