New Around Here
Hi all,

Prevailing upon y'all to help answer a second question.

In my home I will have about 16 wired Cat 5e connections, half of which I want to use for IP PoE security cameras. Can I hook up everything to a switch and then to my router? I also will have two (wired) wireless access points in the network.

I know this is a basic question!

thanks

Yes that will work, but you have to make sure that your switch supports/offers PoE if you are wanting that.
