Hello @all,
I am using a HooToo nano TM2 for some years at hotels without any problems untill now.
When i tried to use my HooToo on the new generation of captive portals, it does no longer work with more than one client at the same time. I had this at two different hotels which has new systems for their guests. (For sure that they have new systems as at one of the hotels it was runnig perfect as usual until the have replaced/renewed the system.)
Description in detail: Once i have entered the captive portal credentials given by the hotel, only this single device will have internet access anymore. No other device can use the internet at the same time allthough it is also connected to the private wireless network of the HooToo. To use it on another device, i had to log-off at the first and re-login with the second device. But then there will be no internet connection at the first one. It seems to be that the captive portal will write a cookie or something else that it can identify the device which has been registered by login. So MAC spoofing by the HooToo seems to no longer work anymore.
I have checked the last firmware and the settings several times, but without success.
I also tried to find any information about this using a web search, but also without success.
The only information I found was something about Apple and captive support for devices which does not have a browser. But i can be wrong with this.
Does someone has made the same experiences?
