How Not To Fix a Hot-running ASUS router

  • SNBForums Code of Conduct

Please, give more information. What build did you come from? Have you done a factory reset?

Did you unplug any hard drive, NAS or printer from usb ports befores flashing new build? If didn't, you can do it now, reflash and do a factory reset again.

And what happens when it overheats? 60-75 is fine. Have you overclocked at all or running lots of custom scripts?

I remove the heatsinks for 2.4 ghz 5 ghz an cpu
Did you unplug the router before or after removing the heatsinks?

Sorry, but I didn't get it .... why did you remove the heatsinks?
