New Around Here
I have Verizon FIOS as ISP and the only way to get a new public IP is to release the existing IP and then request a new one. Every router I had before this one had 2 buttons on the WAN config page, one Release and the other one Renew. This router doesn't have it but I'm 100% sure it can be done through SSH. Unfortunately, I can't find any documentation on the commands. Does anybody know what the commands to release and renew the WAN IP are?
I'm on the latest stock firmware 3.0.0.4.380_7743.

Thanks! I see the script you described in the link above is meant to be run at each boot. I only want to run it manually when needed. How can I accomplish that?

Network map page > click on globe icon (Internet Status) which will then bring up the WAN internet status on the right hand side of the page.

Turn Internet Connection off then back on.
