Inter-VLAN Routing requires Merlin?

My current situation requires a VLAN for my NVR, which should still be accessible from the main LAN. The current Asuswrt Official firmware on my GT-AXE16000 does not seem to contain this function, will upgrading to Merlin allow me to setup these inter-vlan routing? thank you so much.

VLAN support in the current Merlin beta release is no different than the stock Asus VLAN support.

Are you on the current firmware, 3.0.0.6.102_36383?

Use the stock Asus 3006.102_x firmware for your router, it should contain the Guest Network Pro/VLAN/SDN feature.

Yes, I am on the latest software. there isnt an option to use Inter-VLAN Routing by setting a LAN to Access tho.
Static routes have been tried but the NVR GUI opens does not load.
