Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue running OSCAM 11877 on my Asus RT-AC86U router with AsusWRT Merlin. I’m trying to get it running, but I’m facing problems with dependencies and libraries.
Here are the details:
4. Error:
After extracting the OSCAM file and running it, I get an error related to the GLIBC version and missing symbols in the library files. An example error message:
/opt/bin/oscam: relocation error: /tmp/mnt/USB/entware/lib/libc.so.6: symbol _dl_exception_create, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file ld-linux-aarch64.so.1 with link time reference
I’ve tried the following solutions, but none of them worked:
Does anyone know if there is a compiled version of OSCAM with a web interface (webif) that will work on my router? I would appreciate any help or suggestions!
Thanks!
I’m having an issue running OSCAM 11877 on my Asus RT-AC86U router with AsusWRT Merlin. I’m trying to get it running, but I’m facing problems with dependencies and libraries.
Here are the details:
- Environment:
- Router: Asus RT-AC86U
- System: AsusWRT Merlin
- Architecture: aarch64
- GLIBC version: 2.27
- Installed packages and libraries:
- I installed Entware to have access to the necessary libraries.
- The libraries libssl (version 1.1) and libcrypto (version 3) are installed.
- OSCAM file:
- I’m trying to run OSCAM version oscam-Blue_Shadow-git11877-802@cd33226c-aarch64_generic-webif-dvbapi-ssl-libdvbcsa-emu-ipv6-icam-signed.tar.gz.

I’ve tried the following solutions, but none of them worked:
- Installing libraries in different versions (libssl, libcrypto).
- Using symbolic links to point to the correct versions of the libraries.
