Today I received an Asus GT-AX6000 and a TP-Link Archer TX3000E, and I have updated the router with the latest firmware and the network card with the latest driver.
I have a 1000/1000 Mbps connection, and when I run Speedtest to the ISPs servers in Stockholm (Sweden), I get just under 500 Mbps download and around 850-900 Mbps upload.
I tested connecting my computer directly to the fiber converter and got around 940/940 Mbps, so there doesn't seem to be any issue with the connection.
In the device manager, I have disabled "MIMO power save mode" and enabled "Throughput Booster" for the network card which improved the results slightly.
I have experimented with different channels in the router settings, but it doesn't make a significant difference.
I'm sitting approximately 6-7 meters away from the router with an open door and a drywall wall between the computer and the router.
I would appreciate any tips or suggestions you might have on how I can improve the download speed.
