Hey,

Just got this router.

I have an Intel 6200 card and using 5ghz the signal is low while on 2.4 signal is full strength.

Why is that? Please let me know

Thanks.

Don't know which firmware version that you're using, but I'd recommend trying RMerlin's 3.0.0.4_270.26b. You can find it here:

This firmware has been the best all-around so far.

I am using the latest asus firmware, is there a way to get it working on the stock firmware?

This is a known issue documented in various posts on these forums. Firmware 3.0.0.4.354 beta has issues with Intel-based cards, you should revert to the latest non beta release (3.0.0.4.270).

At what distance? Higher frequencies have lesser range, so it would be normal to see a lower strength on 5GHz than 2.4GHz at a given distance.
