New Around Here
Hi,

How do i migrate all my data from my WD-PR4100 NAS to my other QNAP TVS-h474 NAS running QuTS hero operating system? I need the most efficient and fastest solution please.

Thanks

On the QNAP side - check out Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS).

It'll work with most remote mounts, along with local USB drives - and it does all the checksum'ing/etc to ensure that the files migrated over are the same as the source...

Personally, I like being able to do the comparison separately. This way, the integrity of an archive can be checked independently of an update. I use windiff and winmerge and especially like winmerge's ability to compare 3 different copies simultaneously.
