I read the post it shows a bug but still not sure if that makes .68 a security risk.
There could be very different cases. If firewall is crashed for IPv6 it means that this program most probably did not complete its job. So variants:
1. Really security risk if you are using IPv6. I.e. firewall (blocking external attacks) does not work for IPv6.
2. Some functionalities just do not work as planned if you are using IPv6. Forwarding or accepted connection of whatever else. Could lead to not stable work of router or even its reboot.
3. Both "1." and "2.".
4. Minor bug at the end of program i.e. it was able to complete the firewall job. But it is crashing anyway, so something is wrong. For example not freed memory (memory leak) or vice versa: attempt to free not allocated memory.
5. Etc. etc.
This firewall (net-wall) is included into GPL sources in binary pre-built form. So I cannot say what is exactly wrong with IPv6 processing by this program.
