This all seems like an awful lot of trouble when you can up the router to not allow the camera internet access, and then still access it remotely using instant guard!

Of course you don't get notifications from the app this way!

Man I was excited until I read your 2nd sentence. What's special about Instant Guard and why does it prevent notifications?
