Hello,

Today I've installed a new RT-AC86U running Merlin 384.4

The network has it's own Windows Server handling DHCP, therefore it's switched off on the router.

Clients joining the main WiFi network receive an IP address without any problem, but using the guest network no IP address is given. Using a static IP/DNS fixes the issue, but was hoping there would be a better work around?

Thanks.

Yes - I don't want guest clients to be able to see our servers
And those servers would include the DHCP server then.

I remember this topic being asked a few times in the past with various different approaches being taken (all involving custom scripts). Have a search through the forums.

Damn! How stupid of me - it's not a huge network so I could just let the router handle DHCP instead.

Thank you for the help!
