Open ports on Asus router

I have run Advanced Port Scanner on my internal network, and it reports the Asus RT-AC68U router has port 53 and 515 open.
I have not opened these ports, so I am worried if the are a security breach, as suggested here: https://www.speedguide.net/port.php?port=515

Any comments, suggestions and links are appreciated.

Open on an internal network isn't the same as open to the WAN. Port 53 is open on the LAN because the router acts as a DNS server for your LAN.

Port 515 is used by the router's internal printer service, which are used when you connect and share a printer over its USB port.

The utility of that particular service has probably run it's course with modern printers...

Tell that to the 2-3 persons a year that come forward to report issues with that feature.

Most modern printers support IPP, AirPrint, and Google Print services... even on the low-end - which is direct client to printer...

Perhaps an upside of the transition from old-school PC's to modern mobile phone/tablets - and desktop systems are following suit...

I can understand folks having legacy printers... that's cool, but even there, there are other solutions...
