OpenVPN with PIA

anyone know how to set this up properly?

Here's my log:

Feb 19 16:46:03 openvpn[634]: Options error: You must define CA file (--ca) or CA path (--capath)
Feb 19 16:46:03 openvpn[634]: Use --help for more information.

I followed the vpn's directions for setup and it is exactly the same as tomato's setup.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong...

The CA aka Certificate Authority can be pasted in the webui on the OpenVPN Keys page.

I pasted the VPN's ca.crt file contents into the certificate key text area of the setup initially and that's the error I get.

When you are on the OpenVPN-Keys tab make sure you select Client 1 from the drop down menu.

hehe. i know there must have been a stupid reason why this would not work. you're right... i add the ca to the server1 drop down and not to the client1 dropdown.

working great now and this is favourite firmware!!!

where is this 'OpenVPN-Keys tab' in Merlin 376.47 for RT-AC56U?

go to VPN->OpenVPN client->Authorization Mode row

you'll see a link for "Content modification of Keys & Certificates"

go in there and paste the contents of ca.crt into the certificate authority section.

THanks yea i finally seen that.. if it was a snake it would have bit me.
I pasted my ca cert client cert and client key in a window that popped up after i clicked that.
