I sure hope not , my RT-16 was supported up until a few months ago , not bad as I bought it the month it was released , that I consider good support .For now... Dont take it to the letter.
True enough , I just have a preference for Merlin FW . I retired the n16 3 months ago , great router .N16 is still supported by ASUS, but not by RMerlin.
Officially, only the AC56, AC68, AC88 and AC3100 will be supported (they're the only only ones with real 380 support). I might release the following as experimental, unsupported builds: N66, AC87, AC3200. Undecided yet, I'll take the final decision when the release happens.
it is supported by Asus , I think Merlin dropped support for the n 66 with his FW , and if you don't need or use AC the n66 is a great router .I just bought an N66U a few months ago. If it's not supported anymore, it's back to Shibby Tomato for me, though I haven't tried it on the N66U. Anyone have comments about it?
Sorry , am to old and tired to be doing that , rather support Merlins builds with a bit of money than attempt compiling FWSure i can understand that, you could simply compiled it then.
That sounds like a good thing. Alpha 4 is working on my Ac66U, but that just might be cuz i haven't reconfigured anything at all (or its dumb luck)
Could you put alpha 3 for the AC66U back up, since that isn't on 380 yet?)

SO should I roll back the FW to 379 from 380 as it was not really supported on this router ? What problems should I look out for with 380 on the ac3200 ?
Has Asus stated they will stay at 378 for this router? No real further updates?
Seems all 3 are working as expected , using less ram , used to have between 60 and 90 mb free after a few hours , now using only 70 - 80 mb , 180 mb freeCheck that wifi is working, and that you are able to change settings on all three radios.
Thanks for the info i just switched back to the last released version. Will update when Asus releases the code you need thanks again. The issue affects all alpha builds. They are all based on 380_858 or newer.
