New Around Here
I recently updated my RT-N66U firmware to 3.0.0.4.378_9313 and it started to have a problem with the IP address assignment for wireless devices.

My RT-N66U's LAN IP address is set as "192.168.2.1", the DHCP pool is set as "192.168.2.2~254". Somehow my wireless devices are all assigned with 192.168.1.x addresses. Wired devices are fine, they got 192.168.2.x as expected.

I didn't change anything before or after the firmware upgrade. Is this a bug or I missed something?

Thanks ahead!

WAN devices? You mean upstream devices outside your local network?

WAN usually implies that the interface is joining another network, not creating or controlling one.

In RT-N66U's management page, they use "WAN" for Wireless, and "LAN" for wireline. They're all inside my local network behind the RT-N66U.

I think you are mistaken. WAN means the internet. Wired and wireless are LAN.

You might be thinking of WLAN, but even then my own RT-N66U does not use that terminology.

You're right. I was thinking WLAN. :) I've fixed the title.

Finally I reset my router to Factory Default and started over. This time, all wireless devices got corrected IP addresses. Guess it was a bug with the setting migration during firmware upgrade.
