New Around Here
I just purchased my first Asus router (RT-AC66U) and I am really enjoying your Merlin firmware. Thank you for creating. I searched the forum but couldn't find anything regarding QoS settings not showing after applied - so I am leaning towards I may have something corrupted in NVRAM. I am using QOS type as "traditional qos" and the "Bandwidth Setting" I am using is "manual". I input my ISP bandwidth and apply. When I leave the page and come back, the settings are not shown unless I toggle back to "automatic" then back to "manual".
I also tried this page using the QoS type as "bandwidth limiter" enabled and applied a test entry. That setting won't save at all. I input a test setting and come back and it is missing. I am wondering if I need to reset the router (something up with NVRAM setting?).
Second question - I really appreciate the per device logging via a USB stick. I would love to have those daily per device traffic statistics emailed to me. I looked at the logs and realized they are saved in the tomato rstats format. I found some python scripts that could read those logs. Curious if there was an easier way to get the daily traffic stats from the command line so I could initiate a daily email with those stats?
