Hi,

So need help with couple of things;

So i'm downloading a steam game if I do a speed test its literally cripple the speeds, is this normal? I thought make it was Cake issue so i removed it to test.

Can anyone advise me :)

Are you simultaneously downloading and speed testing on separate devices or the same device.

If you are speed testing and downloading on the same device then “piece of cake” can’t help you, you’d probably need “layered cake” with tagging. Or QoS on the device side. Piece of Cake, which what most think of when Cake is mentioned here, will balance bandwidth between devices not by type of traffic.
 
Hi Avtella,

No i just downloaded the new elden ring then noticed my speed was like non existent lol while on my wired gaming desktop. So I was just worried that my ISP was throttling my speeds.

Im a newbie so apologies :)
