My router (shown in read in both cases) is RT-AC86U.
I am just curious, what is meant that my router has "AES" (and not AES-CCMP)?
As far as I understand, "AES" is just an encryption standard, while AES-CCMP is a protocol built using that encryption (and it is a part of the WPA2 requirement, as far as I can tell).
So, my question is what type of AES-based encryption protocol is actually used here?
