So, I had before done the update thorugh the WebGUI and gotten left justified. I then changed the config file to OutputStyle 0, and gotten that form, left justified.

I did this next hotfix update through the WebGUi, and now I have centered without the bars like most.

I can't say that the last hot fix will put us all on the same path, because of my edit of the config in between (not the hot fix of the hot fix), but this looks good to me. Sorry for the little detour.

It's the "queen's english" me thinks. Did your stats generate with option 1 or the UI refresh button?
It came back once I "updated stats".

My upload an download are almost identical...

I put an issue on github:

- Merlin 386.2 beta 1 - RT-AC3100
- Addons for Routers : AMTM V3.1.9 | Diversion v4.1.12 | YazFi v4.2.0 | Scribe v2.4.3 | nsrum v30.4.0 | ntpMerlin 3.2.3 | scMerlin V2.1.0 | uiDivStats v2.3.0 | uiScribe v1.4.2 | YazDHCP v1.0.2 | Vnstat v1.0.0

Pastebin is a good alternative.

I see your router setup in your signature line. What's your connection type and do you have any settings that bypass the TCP/IP stack enabled (e.g., HwA)?

Do you have a functional Traffic Analyzer/Traffic Monitor? What does the daily view show for those days?

Connection:
1GB Cable through a Bridged Ubee Docis 3.1 Modem/Router so the RT-AC3100 is in "Automatic IP"

Settings that bypass the TCP/IP stack:
I am not sure...
HwA is Hardware Acceleration I am guessing. I do not believe so, What, specifically, should I look for?

Yes, Hardware acceleration. Check here: Tools > Sysinfo > scroll to Network "HW acceleration". I suspect that one or both is enabled. In that case, you'd need to make a decision whether data use monitoring is more important than removing the TCP/IP stack bypass (my choice would be full gig... were I able to actually get one. :( )

(What's interesting is the Traffic Monitoring total numbers are essentially equal to the vnStat download numbers. I don't think we can necessarily infer anything except what we already knew: any sort of TCP bypass invalidates the accounting on both Traffic Monitor and vnStat.)

Well... it is disabled...

Interesting. I guess the obvious question is: based on your usage patterns do the numbers reported by either Traffic Monitor or vnStat appear consistent with your current or previous use (e.g., did you monitor use before flashing to this firmware version). I'm wondering if it could be related to 386.2 beta. I don't have this model nor this firmware, nor have we tested it on the betas. I can try to load this firmware on the test router this weekend to see if anything shows up.

In the meantime, is there a setting under LAN called NAT acceleration? Also, are you using any of the Trendmicro settings?

Seems to be something funky. Running beta 3 here. But I have HW enabled.

I set to disable and we'll see....

was on AUTO

Turing TrendMacro stuff OFF now

They still seem to be within 10% of each other. I wanted to give it more then one day.

I do not see any change!

have you configured a vlan for IPTV at all? looking at your github issue, I see vlan1

vlan1 is just for my media server. It does have a torrent downloader. I manage it closely. It runs DietPi with Sonarr, Radarr, Emby so once the files are downloaded they are removed from the torrent downloader so that should not be adding to the upload that much. My connection is 1gb down and 35mb up. To add to that the VPN limits me to about 5mb each way.

i was just wondering if the way vnstat detects traffic is missing some traffic that goes out through vlan1. are you able to move everything to br0 for a few days (maybe curb what sonarr/radarr download ;-) or make sure you PBR them through the VPN) to see if that affects the data reported by vnstat

Have this visual glitch on Chrome, CTRL+F5 did not help. On FF - works fine.
