not sure about aviation data though

I want to run WXMON on my private jet - at the bottom of the second screen to the left, under the engines RPM:

I already found where to stick an RT-AC66U B1 under the dash and zip ties hold it very well. Possible, @Viktor Jaep?

openweathermap and weatherbit are pretty decent, i pull that data to Home Assistant - not sure about aviation data though
I found a good free global aviation weather alternative that won't be requiring a key. Regular weather is still a hurdle. One thing weather.gov does really well is plain language forecast discussions. Openweathermap and others just give you data. I'll come up with something. ;)

Yes, and in fact, if you also run RTRHTR on there, you might even be able to use that for hot starts! Nice!!

let me recooooooovr the spinnn 8000 fttt yahttt l8tr brb
OK, you've convinced me now to also build in upper altitude weather reporting into WXMON, for those running AC66U's strapped to the underside of their cockpits putting out a crapload of BTUs and trying to recover from stalls. :p I'm thinking of your safety first!

I go to sleep for a few hours only to find upon waking that this thread has taken some VERY weird turns...

:p

@Viktor Jaep, I think the issue was in non-aviation approved zip ties. The insurance company said not to worry about it, it happens. Very good company, they paid the previous jet in full after similar minor accident. My yacht is insured there too. The third one and the two that sunk before that. One actually crashed on an island that came out of nowhere, not my fault.

P.S. I believe one groundhog is missing after today's tests. When was the Groundhog Day?

Meh, I'm sure it will buff out.

Must be insurance fraud. The same guy is on the picture saying missing.

Is there any pressure data? Would like to see some sort of “storm alert” say pressure drops 4 hPa (0.12 inHg) or more during a 3-hour period like Suunto or Garmin.
I could probably keep track of it to indicate an upward or downward trend... Thanks for the suggestion... I'll see how this might be used.
