[Request] SMART-CONNECT - Allow to manually change Control Channels

Hi,
I'm one of those people who like to tinker everything to see how it works, especially with new technologies and features.
In my time playing with the ASUSWRT I encountered the promising SMART-CONNECT feature, a really nice feature that uses only one access point for all the bands, and moves the clients across them depending on the configuration defined in the Smart Connect Rules.
But I have to say that this feature seems incompatible with network stability for one simple reason:

The Control Channels cannot be specified manually.​

It forces the user to be stuck with Auto channels, which means that the channels will change randomly, and when a channel changes: all the clients in that band lose the connection.

I have to say that I'm surprised that this problem has been there for so long when I believe it shouldn't be hard to implement.

I'd like to request to allow the manual selection of Control Channels when using the SMART-CONNECT feature.

I'm creating a poll to see who else is interested in this.

I voted yes to add my vote for this. I have been asking for this as it would make SmartConnect better and allow me to pick the control channel instead of SC picking the stupid or fluctuating channels that it picks for me.
