Router Advice

I'm not knowledgeable enough to explain it. I did try the different routers within relatively short times of one another, and I was careful to ask the other household members to not be using the wireless.

I just checked the speed test again in the upstairs room, and the Asus was downloading in the mid 80s Mbps. I am a happy camper.
 
I was pleased with the last two ASUS models of WiFi routers - stable, works well: 110/10 net IP throughput per speedtest.net, to my Samsung phone one room away (5GHz).

Netgear: I've seen great inconsistency from them over the years. There's no lemon law in consumer electronics?
