Hello everyone, googling brought me here, hope I'm in the right place.
So I recently got 200/100 mbps fiber at my apartment(which is huge where I'm living). Naturally the router from ISP is some crap, brand name Speedport and it can't even deliver that speed over wifi, only LAN.
So i bought that Asus router and connected it to ONT device. Everything works, great connection, 100% speed on wifi. But the thing is rebooting every few days.
I'm not too knowledgeable in networking but I found this in Asus web interface from the System log:
Sep 19 17:02:15 rc_service: ntp 720:notify_rc restart_upnp
Sep 19 17:02:15 miniupnpd[722]: shutting down MiniUPnPd
Sep 19 17:02:15 miniupnpd[734]: version 1.9 started
Sep 19 17:02:15 miniupnpd[734]: HTTP listening on port 48285
Sep 19 17:02:15 miniupnpd[734]: Listening for NAT-PMP/PCP traffic on port 5351
Sep 19 17:02:16 rc_service: ntp 720:notify_rc restart_diskmon
Sep 19 17:02:16 disk_monitor: Finish
Sep 19 17:02:16 disk monitor: be idle
Sep 19 17:02:17 miniupnpd[734]: upnp_event_recv: recv(): Connection reset by peer
Sep 19 17:02:23 miniupnpd[734]: upnp_event_recv: recv(): Connection reset by peer
Does that mean anything to anyone? Is there any way I can solve this? Every time the router reboots, the log contains those lines.
I'm using the latest Asus firmware but I switched to the previous version to test it but it's still happening.
