RT-AC5300 Speeds Hampered by Merlin?

I haven't used Merlin since my 87U. I have a RT-AC5300 that has been in production for almost a year now. I have Xfinity GB tier and consistently hover around 930, which is normal. I have tried multiple speed tests and multiple machines. Today I loaded 384.13 and after reboot, I could not exceed 350 no matter what. Tried different speedtest and machines and still all within that 350 range. Reverted back to factory ASUS 300438445717, which was the previous FW and now I am back to normal speeds. Has anyone seen this?

NAT acceleration is set to AUTO in stock FW. I haven't reloaded Merlin to check it but I would assume if the upgrade keeps the settings??????

Going from stock Asus to Merlin is not just an upgrade, but replacing the firmware.
It is best to reset the router after loading Merlin for the first time and set it up manually.
