RT-AC87U - Parental Control - Is "Stealth mode" available..?

Hello there, Norway calling here!

I'm doing a setup on my new RT-AC87U router and have come to the stage where I put a timer on the toddlers(Well, they're 11 and 16, but still toddlers in my mind..) wifi.
The timer settings is pretty easy to understand, and I've been testing it on my own phone to check how it works, and it works fine!

But there's one thing I dont like.. Why do the RT-AC87U have to tell them that "This device is blocked to access the internet at this time"..

I would rather leave them no message at all.. Coz' if they get that message there will be ranting and wining about it unstoppable.. But if no message appears and they ask, I could raise my shoulder and play the "I dont know"-card.. Then they would leave me alone..

I know it may seem like a sleezy thing to do, but hey.. Try having two 11 and 16 years old girls nagging and wining all day about everything else, I dont need them to rant at me because I try to get them to have some sleep and internet-free time at the food-table..

If there is a way to turn that message off I would be a happy puppy, thats for sure!

I agree that that would be a good feature to add. I'm not sure if its the same thing, but there is a setting that toggles whether a message is displayed if the ISP is online or not, maybe it controls both messages?

Try it by going to Administration, System, and disabling the 'Enable WAN down browser redirect notice' option.

Not having an actual message would make thing very hard to troubleshoot, as you would never know if you are being genuinely blocked, or suffering from a network issue.

I don't to tell you how to raise your children, but to me your rationale behind wanting to hide the block message is wrong.

I told you why there was a page shown when a connection was denied. That's very much on-topic, and related to your original question.

Well, if it's a bad idea or not is not the question..
The question is if it's possible to remove it or not, neither did I ask why this page appears, because the text on the page itself tells that perfectly..
If it's not possible to remove it, then I would really like it to be able to make it more personal.. But that would be a bit over my skill level I believe..

Is there a way to set more allow/deny time intervals like 9:15, 9:30, 9:45, etc? I need my RT-AC87R to kick my kids off the net at 9:30pm.

As far as I can see there is no way to use increments between full hours.. I find that weird, my old TP-Link could close it on the minute, but the RT-AC87R seem to only accept full hours..

Not sure the GUI of the AC87, but on my AC68, the Parental Controls feature allows me to control access times.

The first page enables it, where you add each machine/client name you want to manage.

After adding the clients, each client has an icon in the time management column that you can edit/turn on/off clocks of time per day of the week.

No pop-up or advisory, just their internet connection gets cut off.

My 376 GUI is different, but maybe this will help:
