1681 ? I am using 1354 i thought that was the latest for the 88 and 3100. Can you explain were 1681 came from ?

Got A2 the first week it was released . I think A1 was meant for asus internal beta testing.

I got mine a few weeks before launch and it's an A1. I suspect it was a last-minute change in manufacturing, and that revision never made it to retail.

It will join the ranks of my RT-AC87U which has white LEDs, while the final released revision had blue LEDs.

On .1354 the adaptive QOS blows for me. Had to go to traditional QOS for Netflix to work with my sons Xbox running. I am thinking of resetting it and starting fresh instead upgrading from 858 which I did previously.

Anyone else try out Adaptive QOS? Any issues?

I'm on .1354 as well with Adaptive QOS enabled. Haven't got any issues at the moment, including Netflix. My Steam Link is on it's way and that can cause some trouble. I'll let you know if runs well with Adaptive QOS enabled.

Can't really tell if adaptive works well.
Gaming on fifa 16 is p2p so i put p2p as highest with gaming 2nd.

Still the same problems with my players going slower turning passing etc.
I know the individual bandwidth limiter works but i was till hosting fifa p2p matched even when i limited it to.4 MBs lol
Turned UPnP off and now dont host much.
But still my players are clearly not equal to my opponents.

Its like my router is accepting traffic quicker than the outgoing traffic.

I have already installed this firmware, I noticed one bug
download and upload speed by cable decreased twice I have a Gigabit connection
back on the 3.0.0.4.380.1354 after reset, everything fell back to normal

I almost feel like the 3100 is a disrespected little brother, would be nice if they released them for both, since the routers are damn near the same.

I assume you did a factory reset and reset up all your settings right? Works great for me and although I don't have a gigabit connection my connection speeds staid the same.

yes of course I did a factory reset I checked twice
3.0.0.4.380.1354 = 920 mbs
3.0.0.4_380_2064 = 600 mbs
