Went from Version 3.0.0.4.386.46061 (2022/01/11) to Version 3.0.0.4.386.48377 (2022/04/11), no issues during the update process itself.
After, it went dead. Fully. Nothing works. On/off, reset, 30/30/30 method, WPS (FAQ), nothing.

Uuuuuggghhhhhhh, I’m so mad right now. WTH ASUS!?!? How did this pass QA!?

Flashed over Merlin 386.5_2, factory reset with initialize all settings and manually configured. Actually the router GUI seems to be a bit snappier than before.

I suggest you are trying to upgrade an AX68U not an AX86U. Or you tried to flash the firmware with a USB device inserted. There are recovery methods you can use.

Oh, a 30-30-30 reset does nothing for Asus routers. That is something one did ages ago with early Linksys routers like the WRT54G. Ancient history.

Well, there is a problem with this firmware. Find more users with troubles. My AX68U and AX82U got the firmware via the asus app. My AX86S did not got the update. After normale procedure the AX68U failed to restart en does not respond to anything. The AX82U did restarted fine

I approve this, it bricked client router using ota. Nothing works to revive it too

oh, i wouldnt personally use an app to update especially from a mobile but it shouldnt of been an issue if youve used it in the past. rescue app??

Did previous update via the app. I think most N00B users use the app Send the router back and get a new one tomorrow. My routers ar almost brand (febr. 2022) new, did one firmware update in the past

Personally not using that App, only ever manually uploaded the firmware files when wired over Ethernet, probably the most secure/stable upgrade method but I could be wrong of course...

Need help guys. Tonight my asus app presented me an update Version 3.0.0.4.386.48377 for my main router AX86U and my Ethernet backhaul connected router AX82U. My other ethernet backhaul connected router AX86S did not needed to update So via the Asus app i started the update and forgot about it...
