RT-AX86U Hard Factory Reset not fully working

I have had mine since mid March 2021. It does not have an Asus branded power supply. It is marked AcBel.

At that price, I would grab one, if only I had a nearby MicroCenter. FYI, BestBuy still wants $280 for that model, and $250 for the inferior RT-AX86S.
 
RT-AX86U dirty upgrade from Beta1 to Beta2 smooth, no issues on syslog or any strange behaviour
 
After doing a second full reset a couple of days ago (through the GUI), the router rebooted on its own with internet at the same time. Could this be a firmware related bug to drivers?

I am seeing some of these messages below

do you know what this “kernel: httpd (xxx ): drop_caches: 1” message mean?
