Hi team,

I've recently upgraded to macOS Sequoia and have found that I now get "Cannot parse response NSURLErrorDomain:1,017" when I try to access the router admin console via Safari (v18.0) (same issue with IOS), works fine in Chrome. If I clear the browser cache I can access the console, but it seems to be a malformed console and then gives the error when I logout.

Is anyone else having any issues with Safari?

Is your router at 192.168.1.254? That's what you are trying to connect to. I believe default will be 192.168.50.1 or 192.168.1.1 unless you have changed it.

I've had a discussion with Apple Support and provided loads of diagnostics, they've come back and stated that the issue is with the ASUS route. So reported to ASUS support and there response was reset the router. Did this and issue still exists, and they intro'd a new problem via a firmware update. I now cannot access the AiMesh settings (using any browsers).

Starting to think about a complete switch away from ASUS and to another brand....

What firmware are you running on the router? There is a known corruption issue with AiMesh page that has been pointed out in the following discussion on the latest RT-AX88U firmware:

As to the Safari not properly loading the router GUI problem. It happens from time to time that certain web browsers simply won't properly load a page. It something that has been happening for ages. The solution is to try/use another web browser. Plenty of available web browsers to choose from other than Safari.

Thanks for the heads-up on the AiMesh page, I'm having exactly the same page on the firmware in the link.

I've been using Chrome since the problem started after upgrading to macOS 15. It's a pain as I use Safari for almost all of my browsing.....

It quit working for me in the Safari as well. It’s related to the router firmware before this last one I believe. Before Sequoia came out.
