RT--N66U: LAN connections drop when WAN connection is saturated

Marc Chang

New Around Here
I am using a RT-N66U + Asus WRT Merlin 3.0.0.4.378.51_0 firmware.
My WAN connection is coax 100 mbit/sec inbound, 10 mbit/sec outbound.
When I have an internet download running (100 mbit/sec download), my HTTP connection to my Foscam FI9826W stops. Reconnects also fail.
When I pause the internet download I can reconnect. The moment I resume the internet download the camera connections drop.

I have tried running the router with Jumbo frame disabled / enabled, NAT acceleration auto / disable, Spanning-tree protocol disable / enable. Same resulty each time: connections drop or cannot be established when the WAN download is busy.

Do you have any ideas what the reason can be, and how do I fix this?
