Hi all,
it looks like Apple devices causes random reboots of the router.
Observations:
During the day when i am not at home: no reboots
During day connecting by remote to wired PC and doing stuff (ie creating big traffic): no reboot
In the evening: Since update to latest Merlin not so much reboots. When wife comes home (Iphone 5 with IOS 7) reboots. Sometims every 2-5 Minutes.
Devices are using mainly 2.4Ghz, although i am sending on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz
More Info:
Model RT-N66U
Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.376.48_3
Firmware Build Thu Nov 20 18:56:38 UTC 2014 merlin@1702a38
Bootloader (CFE) 1.0.1.2
Driver version wl0: Jun 16 2014 19:31:20 version 6.30.163.2002 (r382208)
Things i have tried:
Update from Stock to latest Merlin -> Still reboots
Reset to factory but re-uploded config
Things i have not tried yet (but are on my list when i got minute..):
Reset to factory and start from scratch
Update IOS device to IOS 8.1.2
I will update my observations. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thx,
Marc
