Run singlemode partly over OM1 Multimode (short bit)?

Is it possible to shoot single mode over a short distance of OM1 62,5/125 multimode fiber? The length of SM fiber is maybe a few kilometer and the length of OM1 fiber is maybe 75 meter (250 ft).

Easy solution is to get a SM to MM SFP-SFP active media converter adapter but would like to avoid that because it power goes out internet dies to important equipment. Could get another UPS there also, but would like to avoid all this extra equipment if possible.

Is there a way to send the SM signal over that short distance of OM1 fiber? Is there specific SFP modules and patch cables that is needed? Dont know how long SM fiber, but its likely only a few km long.

it would be better if all of it was SM and with the correct cable. The reason OM1 isn't used is because it crates reflection errors in the cable because it was designed for an LED light source instead of a laser light source. OM3 through OM5 cables are cables designed for a laser light source.
